フランス・パリ/Paris, France ヨーロッパ・ビア紀行2008春/Beer Trip in Europe

午後から友人を訪ねにパリまで。ブリュッセルからThalysという特急列車で１時間ちょっとなので近い！この友人は４年前にメキシコのユカタン半島を旅しているときに出会ったパリジャン君で、それ以来の親友である。その彼がこの度、めでたく結婚が決まったのでお祝いを述べる為に旅の途中に寄ることにした。あいにく１週間後の結婚式には参加できなかったが、今回婚約者とも知り合えたし、友人の幸せな姿を見られて本当に良かった。＾０＾
In the afternoon, I went to Paris to visit a friend of mine. From Brussels, it takes only about 75 minutes by Express Train "Thalys". Very nice and convenient! I met this Parisian friend in Mexico 4 years ago, and since then we've been good friends. And he was about to get married, so I wanted to give him and her fiancee congratulations in person. Unfortunately, I couldn't attend their wedding a week later, but I was really glad to meet the future bride then, and to see my friend's happy face. :-)
ランチ＆カフェでのおしゃべりの後、最後はモンマルトルの丘まで登ってみた。パリは２回目だったが、ココは初めて。それまで降っていた雨も止み雲間から太陽がでてきた。その眼下にはパリのパノラマがキラキラ光っていた。「キレ〜イ！！」とウットリ。
After having lunch, coffee, and chat, we went up to Montmartre. I had been in Paris before, but this was my 1st time to go up there. Suddenly the rain stopped, and the sun came out through the clouds. Beneath us, the panoramic view of the city of Paris was there, and it was really beautiful!!
そして１９：３０頃Thalysでブリュッセルへ戻った。週末割引チケットで行きは２等席だったが、帰りは１等席で軽い夕食付だった。赤ワイン頂きながら快適シートでゆったり＆まったり。やっぱり１等席は違うね〜。普段２等席ばっかりだから新鮮だったわ。＾０＾たまには良いかもね、たまには。
Then, I left Paris around 19:30, and headed back to Brussels by Thalys again. I got the weekend discount tickets, so I sat in the 2nd class car to Paris, but I sat in the 1st class car back to Brussels. I had a light dinner on board, and enjoyed some red wine in a nice, confortable seat. Well, the 1st class is indeed much better than the 2nd class. I usually travel in the 2nd class, so it was kind of fresh to me. ;-) It would be nice to try the 1st class sometimes, well only sometimes. :-)
