When they were kids growing up together in a rough section of Boston, Jimmy Markum, Dave Boyle and Sean Devine spent their days playing stickball on the street, the way most boys did in their blue-collar neighborhood of East Buckingham. Nothing much out of the ordinary ever happened, until a moment's decision drastically altered the course of each of their lives forever. Twenty-five years later, the three find themselves thrust back together by another tragic event--the murder of Jimmy's 19-year-old daughter. Now a cop, Sean is assigned to the case and he and his partner are charged with unraveling the seemingly senseless crime. In the wake of the sudden and terrible loss of his child, Jimmy's mind becomes consumed with revenge--and his own plans to find the killer. Caught up in the maelstrom is Dave, now a lost and broken man fighting to keep his demons at bay. As the investigation creeps closer to home, his wife Celeste becomes consumed by suspicion and fear, while Jimmy's wife, Annabeth, draws her family tighter together in order to weather the storm.


やっと見ましたよ、オスカー作品。先日これまたやっと見た「ミリオンダラーベイビー」あまりにもショックでここにはアップしなかったのですが、これも衝撃的ですね。イーストウッドは凄い人だね〜。
まぁ、とにかくやりきれない感じです。見た後も残っちゃうし。ミリオンダラーもだね。「スリーパーズ」を思い出させたかな。自分は普通に何の問題も無く生きて来たけど死に直面したり、rapeされたりそんな事が身に降り掛かったらまともに生きる事は容易じゃない。でもそういうニュースで見るような一面を切り取って人間模様を描写していくこういった映画はやっぱりあるべきですね。だって人生はいろんな運命があるんだから。

とにかくこういうやりきれない映画を見ると後味が悪すぎてダメですね。。。
映画としてはスバラシイですよ！　でもなぁ、、、なるべく避けて通りたいかんじ。

先日見たCasa de Los BabysにMarcia Gay Hardenがまた出ていてタイムリーだな〜と思った。彼女はThe Spitfire Grill の時以来結構好きです。今回の様なナイーブな役柄は本当に合ってると思う。ティムもすごいね、役を演じるって凄いコトだ！

DVD：これを何度も見る勇気はないです。

A jaded ex-cop in a totalitarian future is forced out of retirement to hunt down a group of genetically engineered superhumans bred for slavery. Seeing their heroic struggle against an inhuman system, he ultimately falls in love with one of them. This visually dazzling and boldly moral film caught many critics napping when it first came out. In the Director's Cut version of the film, the director has removed the voice-over narration, as well as the "up" ending that was made from outtakes of Kubrick's "The Shining." Several key never-before-seen elements have also been added and the result is a full immersion in Scott's gaudy, decaying police state. Based on the novel "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?" by Philip K. Dick. Academy Award Nominations: Best Art Direction-Set Direction, Best Visual Effects.

これもある意味名作ですよね。いつか見よう、見ようと思っていたけど、やっと見ました。カルトムービーっぽさは否めませんね。好きな人はメチャ好きなんでしょう。リドリースコットは暗い映像を撮ったらピカ一です。ホント、暗すぎるわ！
彼の作品ではテルマ＆ルイーズが好き。　この映画は見た事に対して満足です。80年代に2019年の近未来SFを卓越した映像を撮っていた事自体がスゴイ。やっぱり映画ってリアルタイムで見る方が心に強く残るんだろうなぁ、と思った。　ターミネーターやマトリックスを先に見ていては感動も薄れるのでしょうねぇ。。。

Six American women travel to an unnamed South American country to adopt babies. According to local law, the women are forced to establish residency and live among the native people. The women include: a working-class Southerner who is a member of Alcoholics Anonymous; a neurotic Jewish New Yorker; a prep school trust-fund girl; a bitter Midwesterner; a financially strapped Bostonian, and an athletic blonde.

あれ！？終わっちゃったの！？
と、いう感想。　キャストがいいんですよね〜！！みんなステキな女優さんばかり。結構期待して見たのですが、アッサリサッパリでした。

でも、子供が欲しくても出来ない人が見たら相当感情移入する映画なのではないでしょうか？私は幸い試して（？）いないので子供が簡単に出来るか、出来ない体なのか分かりませんが、きっと本当に欲しい人には切実な問題だと思う。メキシコという発展途上国の現状も映し出し、多少社会派っぽい映画ですね。

MAR ADENTRO (西題)／MARE DENTRO (伊題)／THE SEA INSIDE (英題)　 Life story of Spaniard Ramon Sampedro, who fought a 30-year campaign to win the right to end his life with dignity. Film explores Ramon’s relationships with two women: Julia, a lawyer who supports his cause, and Rosa, a local woman who wants to convince him that life is worth living. Through the gift of his love, these two women are inspired to accomplish things they never previously thought possible. Despite his wish to die, Ramon taught everyone he encountered the meaning, value and preciousness of life. Though he could not move himself, he had an uncanny ability to move others.


実話に基づいた映画だそうです。うう〜〜〜　人生ってねぇ。。。
すっごく深い映画でした。ここでは書ききれない…　是非、見てください。
何の予備知識もなかったのでJavier Bardemは年配の人で、若い頃の俳優は別の人がやっているのかと思ったけど、違いました。頭しか動かず、表情とセリフ回し（しかも、イタリア語だからよく分からないのに！）だけなのに素晴らしい演技でした。

ベットから降りて空を飛ぶシーンは泣けました。トゥーランドットもすごく合っていた。

DVD：いらないけど、心に強く残った

Jack Clayton's version of THE GREAT GATSBY was adapted for the screen by Francis Ford Coppola from F. Scott Fitzgerald's 1925 masterpiece about a handsome and enigmatic tycoon betrayed by the American Dream. Though self-made millionaire Jay Gatsby (Robert Redford) has been in love with the spoiled Daisy Buchanan (Mia Farrow) since his days as a poor boy in the Midwest, she's now married to a boorish philanderer (Bruce Dern) and seems more out of reach than ever. Gatsby's attempts to win Daisy back result in his tragic downfall, as witnessed and narrated by his neighbor and friend Nick Carraway (Sam Waterston). The result is a richly successful evocation of the Jazz Age and a tragic portrait of shallow lives ruined by wealth, brilliantly acted by Redford, Waterston, Dern, and the rest of the supporting cast.

長い（怒）！！！
これって名作？古い映画の中では結構名前が挙っている記憶があったので借りたのですが、私はあんまりでした。しかもみんな汗かいててヘン！顔中じんわり汗かいてるし、夏の暑い雰囲気を出す演出かもしれないけどtoo muchでした。
まぁ、お金持ちの世界ってあ〜いう感じなのかしら？なんだか「それで？」って感じ。「有り余る程の金持ち」って私たち庶民にしてみれば結婚相手に不服でもたいした事ないじゃん、って思うけど彼らからしたら「心の触れ合い」の方が大事。って思うんでしょうね。無いものねだりですかね。ロバートレッドフォードは合ってたと思うけどそれ以外のキャストは何ですか？全然魅力的じゃない。

あまりにもムカついたので他の人のレビューを探してみたら原作はいいらしい。もっと深みのある作品だそうです。でもまぁ読まないけどね。

DVD：当然いりません。

自分の少女時代を振り返りながら、精神的に自立してゆく平凡なOLの姿を描く。原作にある60年代のノスタルジックな風景と、高畑勲監督オリジナルによる有機農業を語る現代のエピソードが交差。レトロ気分に浸れる、回想シーンが印象的。宮崎駿製作。東京でひとり暮らしをしている27歳のOL・タエ子。農業に興味を持っている彼女は、休暇を利用し、義兄で農家を営む山形へと向かう。寝台列車で揺れる中、彼女の前にはいつしか小学5年生の自分が現れはじめるが・・・。

ちょっとした私の目標は「ジブリ作品を全部見ること」
宮崎駿監督の有名作品は見ていてもマイナーなものは見ていないので時間のある時に見ようかな〜と思い、手に取った。
27歳のOLって書いてあったから自分に近いじゃん、と思ったけど少女時代が1960年代なので、脱脂粉乳とか、パイナップルを初めて食べるエピソードとか、時代が違ってて共感できなかった。　多分40歳↑の人にちょうどいい作品では、、、？

最後にタエコが引き返すところは曲と演出がヨカッタ！
Bonnie Tylerの有名な歌に日本語歌詞を付けてたんだけど、日本語もイイ！声もイイ！

本当はとっておいたのですが見てしまいました。特別な思い入れのために、いつか見ようと思ってたんだけど、ついに心を決めてみました。　で、、、
大好き！大好き、この映画！！！！！　前作「Before sunrise」に続き９年後の彼らを書いているのですが、会った直後から堰を切った様にしゃべりまくるあたり、リアル〜！その後の流れや会話の内容に涙、涙！　６年位前に見て、今また見た事に意味があると思った。
彼らも年をとったし、この時間の流れに嘘がない。
会話の内容もとっても大人。大人の映画！！　は〜〜〜〜こういうのってアリなんだよね。　ラストのセクシーなジュリーと「もう終わり！？」という意外性、もっと見ていたい！と思わせる終わり方。　２作品とも心にグッサリきましたね〜

これは思い入れの深い映画。
でも６年位前に見て、それっきり。before sunsetと合わせてみよう、みようと思ってたけど結局こんなにも時間が経ってしまった。　以前見た時よりも感じるものが大きかった。　「言葉の宝石箱」って感じ。　今の私には本当に心に染み入る言葉たちだった。

DVDかう！

ハワイのノースショアへと流れてきた、小悪党のジャック。彼は建築の仕事にありつくが、現場監督と口論になりケガを負わせてしまう。当然仕事はクビになり空き巣強盗に戻ったジャックだったが、土地の名士である判事のウォルターに拾われ、彼のリゾート施設で働きだす。そんな時、ジャックの前にとびきりセクシーな美女・ナンシーが現れる。悪党成金リッチーの愛人であるナンシーは、ジャックにある儲け話を持ちかけるのだが…。

なんにも残らない映画とはこのこと！？
つまんなかったです。サラフォスターもジェシカアルバ位スタイルはいいのに、魅力ないですね〜。。。顔？、、、もまぁまぁいいんですけどね。オーエンもはまりきれてないし、モーガンフリーマンいろんな映画に出過ぎ！
チャーリーシーンは意外と良かったです。オッサン具合が。

DVD：時間のムダ〜

世界中でベストセラーを打ち出した、ダークな児童小説を美しく映画化。発明好きのヴァイオレット、読書家のクラウス、噛むことが大好きなサニーは、裕福なボードレール家の三姉弟妹。ある日、火事によって愛する両親を失った3人は、遠縁のオラフ伯爵に預けられる。ところがオラフ伯爵は、後見人手続きが終わった途端、遺産目当てに3人の暗殺を企てる。3人は、この危機を知恵と勇気で逃れ、別の親戚へ預けられることになるのだが、強欲なオラフ伯爵は、あらゆる手段で3人に近づこうとする。

短いかなぁ。あと、ジムキャリーの変装七変化！って感じであんまりでした。サラっと見るにはいいかもね。
冒頭の塩の湖で３姉弟妹を説明するシーンのバックが良かったなぁ
レモニースニケット役をジュードロウがやってましたね。最近よく見る割に後から知るパターンですわ。ガタカの時に出てきた時にはメチャかっこいいし、かなり好きだったけどその後それほどでもないな〜と思ってました。コールドマウンテンで私的には再復活！アビエイターといい、コレといい、以外とちょっと役に出るんですね〜
あと、ダスティンホフマンがカメオ出演してた。
