Money mongers cannot win Nobel Prizes. This obvious statement should not be one of the biggest surprises. They have no room for making an excuse.
Is it a coincidence that I see quite a few Japanese names among the award winners? Japanese (at least, more than Americans in general) make a big deal out of paying dues.
Regardless of their nationality, I think they deserve being praised in reality. I want to buy those scientists dinners.
Nobel賞受賞は、長年の地道な努力の結晶とも言えます。才能があるだけでは得られない。今年、受賞者リストの中に日本人の名前（日本国民とは限らぬが）をよく見るのは、偶然ではないかも。
「長年にわたる下積み」を格好悪いだのダサいと感じるのが、典型的なアメリカ人です。米国で最も『優秀』とされる者たちは、Wall Streetでget-rich-quickなゼニの亡者に成り下がる。（紙切れに魂を奪われるほどに意識の低い輩が（学校の成績はともかくとして）本当の意味で『優秀』なわけがないか。）そんな国の将来が明るいわけがないでしょう。道連れはごめんです。勝手に自分たちだけで衰退をむかえて滅亡してください。
