JAPAN <Yokohama> -Japanese & English- ビール/Beer/Cerveza

「ジャパン・ビア・フェスティバル２００７ in 横浜」
１５日から３日間行われていたビア・フェスの最終日に何とか仕事の休みを取り、行ってきました！ （数年前から行きたいｘ２と思ってはいたものの、週末＆祭日にも仕事をしている身にはなかなか行く事ができないイベントだった。）あいにくビール仲間の妹も、友達も直前に参加できなくなり結局１人で行くことに・・・。
開場１１：３０に合わせて、イベント会場に到着。この日の天気はまた真夏が戻ってきたかのように暑い日で、駅から会場まで歩く間にジットリと汗をかいてしまうほど。でもこんな日は言わずとも最高の“ビール日和”になるわけで。＾０＾
入場券と交換で試飲用の５０ｍｌグラスをもらい、後は日本の地ビールを中心に全て飲み放題！！ ６０件ほどの地ビール会社のブースに１５０種類以上のビールがあり、どれから飲もうか迷ってしまう〜。＾０＾
とりあえず自分の好きな「スタウト・ビール」から。あまり普段飲めそうに無い種類を中心にあれこれテイスティング。初めてトライした「ラオホ」や「インディアン・ペールエール」等々・・・２時間半程で１４種類前後飲んだ。そのうち半分ぐらい分に気に入る味に出会えたが、そんな時がシアワセいっぱいになる瞬間。＾０＾ でもさすがに最後の方は、お腹いっぱいになってしまいじっくり味わって飲めなかったかな・・・。＞＿＜ １４：３０過ぎに会場を後にして帰宅。電車の中で１時間弱熟睡してしまった。

ラオホ （猪苗代地ビール：福島県）

“Great Japan Beer Festival 2007 in Yokohama”
I finally went to the Beer Festival!! I had always wanted to join that famous annual event, and finally I could get a day off on a national holiday (on which I always had/have to work). It was a 3-day event, and when I went was the last day of it. The event started at 11:30 with a big toast by a few hundreds of people in the hall.
You just pay for the entrance, get a 50ml mini glass, and you can taste as much of beer as you want! About 60 Japanese micro breweries brought more than 150 kinds of beer!! I didn’t know where to start!? :- p
Well, actually I started from my favorite “Stout”. Then, I tried several kinds of beer that I can’t easily find at local bars/pubs, like “Rauch” and “Indian Pale Ale”… In total, I tried about 14 glasses of beer in two and a half hours, and I found several great ones. At those moments I encountered the tastes I really liked, I’m sure I was putting a stupid grin on my face feeling simply happy… :- )
However, at the end, I was so full that I couldn’t appreciate the taste of any more beer… I left the event at around 14:30, and I had a nice nap on the train for an hour… :-p
